Our client is a specialist data centre contractor delivering full turnkey solutions to clients across Europe. The company delivers complex projects from initial design through to construction, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning services.
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the project team on a major data centre development in Amsterdam. This is a site-based position.
The successful candidate will join the electrical team and take responsibility for the technical delivery of the project. This includes reviewing tender documentation, selecting electrical plant and materials, managing technical submittals, coordinating services, and overseeing the production of coordinated drawings.

Responsibilities
•    Manage relevant client communications
•    Lead electrical design management activities
•    Coordinate works with contractors to ensure electrical services integrate effectively with other disciplines
•    Prepare method statements and risk assessments for electrical construction activities
•    Deliver all electrical systems in line with project and safety requirements
•    Liaise with the project team to sequence installation works to meet programme dates
•    Commercially assess and manage the project from handover through to procurement of electrical equipment, specialist subcontractors, and suppliers
•    Assist in managing installation works to ensure a consistently high standard on site, progressing through to commissioning and handover
•    Support the documentation and costing of scope changes, monthly valuations, and final accounts

Requirements
•    Previous experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment
•    Proven electrical design management experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
•    Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
•    Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
